Flute grinding is a service we offer on 3/4" diameter and larger endmills. This can be the difference between an expensive cutter being scrapped or having several sharpenings left. The hook angles remain unchanged, however the helix is slightly altered and cannot be cnc ground again. Chips in the face of the flute up to .025 deep can be ground out .
